Ferreting Out the Clues™
Professional training for the Forensic Specialist
Digital Imaging for Interactive Crime Scene Recording and Presentation
This is a three-day class in dynamic interactive panoramic digital imaging techniques. Sorting through stacks of crime scene photos to show relationships between evidence, suspects, victims, and witnesses can be awkward and confusing to a jury, judge, or investigator. Now there is a way to take a set of still pictures and digitally stitch them together to provide a smooth panoramic view on the computer screen. It allows you to move to the left or right, zoom in or out, and look up or down. You can click on hot spots and even move from one room to another.

This workshop will be hands-on and provide each participant with the opportunity to create their own multi-scene panorama of a scene. Participants should be familiar with computers. Some experience with imaging applications would be helpful, but not required. If you need a basic class in imaging techniques, we also offer the course, Introduction to Forensic Digital Imaging.
